Withdrawal and refunds

This information concerns consumer purchases of digital collections directly from FiddlerCrab. It does not limit rights for defective or incorrectly supplied content.

Direct FiddlerCrab purchases: your right to withdraw

You may withdraw from a direct purchase contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The period starts when the contract is concluded, subject to the information requirements of applicable law. To exercise the right, send a clear statement that you want to withdraw to:

You can email us or send a letter. Send your statement before the period ends. An order reference helps us find the purchase, but the sample form below is optional.

Immediate digital access

For paid digital content not supplied on a physical medium, early expiry of the withdrawal right requires all the applicable conditions: we have started delivery; you expressly agreed beforehand to delivery beginning before the withdrawal period ends; you acknowledged that this causes your right to expire when delivery begins; and you have received the required contract confirmation on a durable medium. See §356(6) BGB and §312f BGB.

Website checkout asks for an express request for immediate access and the acknowledgement separately from acceptance of the terms. If the legal conditions for early expiry are not satisfied, your statutory withdrawal right is not removed merely because you checked a box or paid.

If you withdraw validly

We return the payments due under the withdrawal rules without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal statement. We use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise without an extra cost. The relevant digital-content access ends with the reversal. Your separate rights for defective content remain.

Foreign website and Apple purchases

If the receipt identifies Stripe Managed Payments/Link as seller, use the seller's withdrawal and refund information shown at checkout or on the receipt. FiddlerCrab can help identify the order and resolve game-access problems. If Apple billed you, use Apple's refund process. The applicable seller terms and mandatory local consumer protections continue to apply; we do not decide Apple's refund requests.

Something is broken or missing?

Email hello@fiddlercrab.eu with the collection name, receipt reference and the problem. Do not send passwords or full payment details. For restoration steps, see support.
